Company announces new hires and promotions including Laura Tamjärv as Director of Acquisitions
NEW YORK—September 15, 2021—CleanCapital announced today that it has promoted Julia F. Bell to the position of Chief Commercial Officer. Bell, formerly of global law firm White & Case LLP, joined CleanCapital in July 2019 as Director of Commercial Transactions and was promoted last year to Head of Projects.
In her new role she will continue to oversee project acquisitions, due diligence, and construction for CleanCapital as well as structuring, negotiating, and implementing the company’s acquisition and development strategies.
Bell succeeds Melinda Baglio in the CCO role; Baglio will continue to serve as General Counsel as well as interim Chief Investment Officer. Laura Tamjärv—who joined the company as an intern in 2019 and has since served as an Associate and as Vice President of Acquisitions—has been promoted to Director of Acquisitions.

“CleanCapital’s value to investors is predicated on our ability to deploy capital efficiently, which is exactly what our industry needs to accelerate development at the scale required to address the climate crisis,” said Julia F. Bell. “I look forward to this opportunity to expand my responsibilities at a company that levers innovative thinking to drive the global transition to clean energy.”
