We continued our growth as a company in 2018. At CleanCapital, we are working to revolutionize the clean energy market through simpler finance.
This year demonstrated our ability to execute on large, complex deals in the distributed clean energy space. Our technology-driven approach, coupled with access to dedicated capital, streamlines and expedites the due diligence and analysis, required for complex deals to close efficiently. We’re looking forward to continuing to develop a robust clean energy marketplace that provides opportunities for investors and access to capital for developers, through a platform that identifies, screens, and manages clean energy projects.

Packaging Facility in New Jersey
Corporate renewable energy procurement reached a new record in 2018, with 3.57 gigawatts (GW) of clean energy projects announced this year to date in the United States. The corporate offtaker for this project has committed to connecting the world in responsible and resourceful ways which includes expanding on sight renewable energy generation to power their day to day operations.

Military Base in California
Disruptive technologies that are more efficient and resilient not just in energy sector but across the entire economy are reaching economies of scale and readily deployed. Look no further than the military’s increasing adoption of distributed energy technologies to enhance energy security at domestic bases. This project is replacing 10% of the bases demand with solar power, helping the flight testers maintain access to air, land and water for testing and other operations, while not upsetting the delicate balance of the desert ecosystem.

Massachusetts Municipality Invests in Solar
American cities and counties are preparing their communities for environmental changes that are already underway, while also taking steps to prevent additional, more catastrophic changes in the future. Local leaders are taking the climate challenge head-on, with bold moves that have an immediate, on-the-ground impact.
This project has converted what would have been a vacant lot into revenue stream coupled with cost savings for this Central Massachusetts town.
